Welcome to Verner's Library!

     At Verner Elementary School, we believe that reading is the most important skill a student will ever learn. When you can read, you can do anything, be anything, and go anywhere! The library is the heart of the school, and we have an open library policy so that students and teachers can utilize the library throughout the day. We use the Accelerated Reader program to help us match students with books that are at the appropriate level of difficulty and as an incentive to achieve individualized reading goals. Each nine weeks, we have a party to celebrate those students in grades 3, 4, and 5 who have met all of the reading goals set specifically for them by their teachers. Come visit us in the library! We love nothing more than helping students find the book that is just right for them. We want all Verner students to love reading as much as we do!
