Greetings from the PTA President

Dear Verner Parents, Teachers and Supporters,

Welcome back to another fabulous school year at Verner Elementary! The PTA board has been hard at work this summer preparing for an exciting school year.
A volunteer flyer will be sent out at the beginning of the school year for you to fill out your area of interest. From Library to Teacher Appreciation to Yearbook and so on….
We have a place for YOU on the PTA!

One of the biggest ways you can support PTA is by joining our Verner Investment Program (VIP). With a suggested donation of $150* (per child), you can help the PTA provide many services to the school that would not be possible without PTA funding. This once a year “investment” keeps you and your child from selling gift wrap, candy bars, and other door-to-door items that can prove to be time consuming and frustrating. The VIP donation helps to support our Accelerated Reading Program, library books, art and music support, teacher appreciation support, playground/grounds maintenance, and much, much more! Checks are payable to Verner Elementary PTA, and our Venmo handle is “VernerElementaryPTA.”

Thanks to the hard-working teachers and staff, our children's life-long learning adventure begins at Verner. It is my pleasure to serve as president of the PTA this year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
